Why Our Early Access Users Love Menovation

Perimenopause is no joke. From unpredictable periods, the never-ending hormonal roller coaster, sudden body changes, and mental health impacts, on top of a full load of family and work responsibilities, this stage of life is CHALLENGING. (And, often, sweaty.) We know that these symptoms can affect your confidence, energy levels, and overall well-being.
This is our “why” – why the Menovation team worked hard to create a four-in-one app to provide holistic support to women in perimenopause and beyond. We believe no one should have to navigate these midlife changes alone.
What Makes the Menovation App Unique
After helping more than 80,000 women through her pre- and postnatal Strong Like a Mother (SLAM) app, founder Ashley Nowe, realized that there was woefully little information for women entering the next phase of life.
In collaboration with the expert trainers, physical therapists, and women’s health specialists, as well as physician and educators, Ashley set out on a mission to provide midlife women with the tools to stay strong and learn about their changing body.
Our team spent well over a year developing a science- and evidence-based app to help you take back control of your body in perimenopause. From fitness to nutrition to health tips, Menovation is designed to alleviate menopausal symptoms, boost energy, and improve your mental and emotional health.
We launched the app in September 2025, offering a sneak peak to members of our SLAM community.

We are SO PROUD of the work we’re doing, but it’s our community that tells the real story.

Coming Soon to Menovation
We have so many exciting ideas for building out and expanding the app. In the coming weeks and months, we plan to add more workouts – extending our strength, barre, and yoga programs. We are also putting together new stretch, mobility, and other programs specifically tailored for perimenopausal and menopausal bodies.
A varied and nutritious diet is critical in every life stage, but nutrition needs change in perimenopause. (Meno belly, what?) We hear you! This is why Menovation includes expert nutrition guidance, simple strategies, and hundreds of easy, delicious recipes.
Since many early Menovation users came to us from our sister app, SLAM, we also know they love to incorporate our recipes and weekly meal plans into their busy lives. We’re building out our database and nutrition tips to include even more nourishing, stage-specific recipes to fuel your body during perimenopause and beyond.
We look forward to offering fitness and nutrition challenges, and more deep dives on the latest research with our experts. We plan to expand features in our symptom tracker, add fitness benchmarking, and so much more!
